Ms. Roberson
Patricia Roberson received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Child Development and Family Studies from East Carolina University and is set to graduate in May 2026 with a Master’s in School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She is currently completing her administrative internship here at Dabney Elementary, where she has proudly served her entire 11-year career, beginning with her student internship before becoming a classroom teacher.
Mrs. Roberson was honored as Dabney’s 2024–2025 Teacher of the Year and has participated in the Hunt State Fellows program for two consecutive years as well as graduating from the NC Instructional Leadership Academy. She is passionate about fostering strong relationships with students and families and believes that every child has the ability to thrive when given the right support.
Her philosophy is rooted in her faith, which guides her to serve others with compassion, integrity, and purpose. She loves all children and is committed to creating an environment where they feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.
