Hello! My name is De-Kisha Elam! I am a Pre-K Teacher’s Assistant here at Dabney Elementary School. I graduated from North Carolina Central University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Child Development. I have been working in education for almost 13 years. I enjoy seeing children grow and develop as the years go by. I have a 13 year old daughter and I recently got married August 2, 2025. Outside of my position at Dabney, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends!
